Excessive sweating, medically known as Hyperhidrosis, is a common problem which can affect day to day life.

The most common areas which are infected are hands, feet, armpits, groin and face. Sweating doesn’t pose a serious threat to your health, although it can be very embarrassing, leading to anxiety. There is no specific cause for hyperhidrosis but it is thought to be caused by the nervous system.

Here at Skin Sense GP Clinic, we offer Botulinum Toxin (BOTOX) injections to treat hyperhidrosis. Our Chelmsford clinic covers many areas in Essex, including Brentwood, Basildon, Billericay, Braintree and Southend.
