What is Unwanted Hair?

There is considerable variation regarding hair growth (distribution, density, colour and hair type) and this may be due to genetic factors, race, medical conditions (such as polycystic ovaries) and medication. Hirsutism is the medical term applied when hair growth is above and beyond what is considered normal and may be related to an underlying medical condition. In the majority of cases unwanted hair is normal hair growth but becoming a burden with the relentless task of shaving, waxing, plucking and trimming. Fortunately there are now treatments available which not only remove hair, they also destroy the underlying hair follicles leading to permanent hair reduction and to remove the need for ongoing waxing and shaving.

As a mature lady I had my first lip filler experience with Dr. Lanka. I cannot thank her enough. I just wanted less of a thin lip. She made me feel at ease straightaway and the result was amazing. I Had a 10cm lipoma removed which was attached to the muscles on my back. I'm Very impressed with the quality of service I received. All the staff at the clinic were very warm & welcoming and made me feel very comfortable. The receptionist was lovely and the Skin Sense GP Clinic team are professional and very attentive.
